Today's good thing: work was good.

Today's bad thing: J went to the doctor and got his MRI results. For most people, a slipped disc OR a pinched nerve would be plenty, but not J... he has both. We're waiting for a referral to a neurosurgeon. Also, after me bragging about him not having a sinus infection this spring, he has one now.

Today's good thing: it was a busy, but good, day. Work was good. I left at lunch to take J to his cardiologist appointment. We got called back after 2 hours. The doctor doesn't think it's his heart causing the weakness in his legs, but spinal stenosis instead. Of course, they have to do more tests. What is it with doctor's office staff? I just got off the phone with this cardiologist's office in Savannah( J will see him in Baxley) and while two people I talked to were nice, one was so rude and condescending. It's ironic that trying to get anything done via a doctor's office runs your blood pressure up. I called J's doctor on August 26th, the week before his week off, to see if his doctor wanted to see him before or after we schedule a stress test with a heart doctor. Never heard anything. Today's good thing: we finally got J's cataract surgery scheduled. His first is next Tuesday(Feb 4th) and his second will be the 17th. We were disappointed to find out he won't be able to get the Toric(?) lenses. They told us $1200 per eye when we were there last time, but this time, it was more like $3700. I have been inspired by mrs_sweetpeach and her idea of posting a scrapbook page every week. Except mine will be a post. If I can't do an actual post every day, then maybe every week. In all honesty, I need to do this, as it helps me keep up with dates - - you don't know how many times I've checked here to find out the date something happened.
